Our tour starts with our guide welcoming us on our hotel lobby at 09.00 am. Then our great adventure to Istanbul’s historical old city begins.

Our first stop is the Topkapi Palace, the former imperial residence of the Ottoman sultans. f we will enjoy a great tour in this spectacular museum, that is well known for its collection of royal treasures. Our guide will tell us about 4 centuries of glorious victories as well as tragic times.

Then we are taking a walk to Hagia Sophia along a cobblestone road lined with old Ottoman-era houses. This 6th century church, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, features stunning mosaics. We learn about the history of the structure and hear some stories about it from our guide.

After a delicious lunch break, we are walking to the site of the Hippodrome, the center of sportive and political activities in ancient Constantinople. We will see the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpentine Column from Delphi, and the Fountain of Willhelm II, that is also known as the German Fountain.

We are heading to the Blue Mosque, built in the 17th century, and also known as the Sultanahment Mosque, is one of the principal adornments of the Istanbul skyline. There we will be amazed by the magical interiors of the mosque covered with blue Iznik tiles for leaving this unique mosque 6 minarets.

Our final stop will be the Grand Bazaar where we will learn the history of this lively place from our guide. We will wander among over 4000 shops, make some souvenir shopping for our loved ones and practice our bargaining skills with the vendors selling countless types of products from sweets, spices, jewelry to fabrics, traditional carpets, leather works and belly dance costumes.
Our tour ends between 16:00-17:00 pm and we are being transferred to our hotels after fulfilling, memorable journey.
