We are meeting at the bus station for our overnight bus trip to Cappadocia that will depart on 20.30 pm.
Our first stop in Cappadocia will be Devrent Valley where we will see the unique, lunar-like fairy chimneys with our professional guide. After we stop by at Pashabagi also known as the Monks Valley. We will proceed to Avanos (Venessa), the pottery centre of Cappadocia and will have chance to learn more about pottery craftsmenship. We will enjoy a delicious lunch. We will then hop on to our comfortable, air-conditioned coach and head to Goreme Open Air Museum. Here we will explore Byzantine cave churches where monks and nuns pursued monastic life from the 3rd century on. From the panoramic view point Esentepe we will be able to experience a complete view of Goreme valley and Goreme village: fairy chimneys, rock formations and cave houses. We will end our day with a visit to Uchisar Castle and enjoy more of the views of fairy chimneys and hot air balloons. We will head to our hotel to get some rest for our second day.
On the second day of our tour, we will check out from our hotel after breakfast and we will take a hike along the Red&Rose Valley, the most breathtakingly and mysteriously beautiful valleys in the region. The hike will end in Cavusin Cave Village, where we will see a rock castle and troglodyte dwellings where people lived until the 20th century. We will have a delicious lunch and continue our tour. We will visit Kaymakli Underground City, one of the largest and deepest of Cappadocia’s many underground settlements. At the end of our day, we will head to the Pigeon Valley where we will enjoy a spectacular view of dovecotes, old abandoned cave homes and old Greek houses of Uchisar. After the amazing two days in Cappadocia, we are heading to the bus station, for our overnight bus transportation to Denizli.
Upon arriving at Denizli in the morning, we will start our tour at 09.00 am. We will visit Pamukkale and Hierapolis, the Domitian Gate, the Colannaded Gate, a Cathedral, the Red Waters of Karahayit, Pamukkale Museum and the Travertines of Pamukkale. We will have our lunch. After we soak up all the nature and history altogether, our tour ends at 19:00 pm, we will be transferred to Selcuk or Kusadasi, where we will spend the night for the next day. On this day lunch is included.
On our fourth and last day we will head to Ephesus after our breakfast at our hotel. Ephesus is one of the world's finest examples of an ancient classical city. We will visit the Temple of Artemis (Diana), known as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; the house of the Virgin Mary, where she spent the final years of her life; Isa Bey Mosque, an impressive mosque from XIV. Century A.D. At 17.00 pm our tour finishes and we will have some free time until 21.00 pm, when our overnight bus departs for Istanbul.
